I enjoy empowering people with anxiety and depression to work towards overcoming the challenges they face, teaching them resilience in facing their fears. I value the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with my patients, utilizing both evidenced-based talk therapy and skills-based therapy to create and maintain this partnership. I believe in validation and curiosity in my therapeutic approach while also helping my clients to do hard things and challenge themselves to create a more joyful and meaningful life. I also believe in the importance of family involvement in treatment.
Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I have experience in helping clients manage and overcome anxiety disorders, depression, school issues, transitions, self-esteem issues, and motivation issues.
I enjoy working together with my clients to set goals and understand underlying causes of stress and exhaustion and working on strategies to manage these stressors. I believe that all of the clients I work with want to be successful and feel better about themselves, so I am dedicated to partnering with them on that journey.
