My approach to therapy is building a relationship together. Healing can feel extremely vulnerable, and building a strong foundation in our relationship can forge the way to experience healing authentically. I find it important for clients to know their experiences are valid, and like to help untangle the web. I believe that therapy is about letting someone witness you as you are currently, even if it is not where you want to be. Allowing yourself to be witnessed as you are can be what triggers change.
I am currently a student extern at Adler University in Chicago training to be a Psy.D. Clinical Psychologist. I am very passionate about feminism, multiculturalism, and learning how systems affect an individual. On my free time, I enjoy reading romantic fantasy novels, social commentary novels, pottery, meditating, and spending time with loved ones.
